Olsson Associates, an engineering and design firm committed to improving communities, announces that Steve Iverson has joined the firm as a federal and environmental leader in the Kansas City region. In this role, Iverson will lead firmwide federal and environmental services growth and lead a team of Kansas City-based environmental professionals.
Iverson brings to Olsson a wealth of experience in the federal and environmental markets, having spent more than 30 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), including 14 years as the deputy district engineer and chief of the USACE’s planning, programs and project management division. He previously served as the environment office business unit leader for USACE’s Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri offices as well as the federal market sector leader for the Midwest region at a global architect-engineering firm.

Iverson is a professional engineer who will be based in the Overland Park, Kan., office.
