Scott Carrick has returned to Olsson Associates to expand the firm’s growing services to Class 1 railroads. Carrick brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience, having spent the past six years at Cinnabar Southwest where he was instrumental in growing its utility relocation and coordination services to railroads.
At Olsson, Carrick will continue to build upon the relationships he created throughout his career. He will focus his efforts on utility relocation and coordination work with BNSF projects and coordination efforts with other railroad entities.
“The level of client care and project commitment Olsson provides is industry leading,” Carrick said. “I’m proud to be able to offer the expanded services we have—it really reinforces that we are the go-to consultant for the rail industry.”
Daryoush Razavian, rail market sector leader, said, “Carrick’s wealth of industry knowledge and experience, plus his aligned client service vision, make him a perfect fit and addition to Olsson. His hiring reinforces our continued commitment to railroad clients in providing full engineering and related consulting and design services.”
