Olsson Associates’ John Coburn has been promoted to professional engineer. The requirements for becoming a professional engineer (PE) include completing four years of professional experience under a licensed PE and passing the professional engineering exam. Coburn passed his PE test in April 2014 and has worked for four years to gain his experience.
Coburn is a member of Olsson’s Lincoln Transportation team. He started with the firm in 2015. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Olsson Associates provides multidisciplinary engineering and design services. The firm has nearly 30 offices in the Midwest and Southwest U.S.
