Olsson Associates’ Board of Directors has appointed Brad Strittmatter, the firm’s president since 2009, as chief executive officer. Ryan Beckman, the firm’s senior vice president of sales and new business, has been tapped as the firm’s next president.
“Our firm has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years. This leadership change will help us meet our firm’s goals and provide the best experience for our employees and clients,” Strittmatter said.
“One of our guiding business tenets is that we endeavor to provide great opportunities for employees, and they in turn put our clients’ needs first, resulting in successful projects,” said Strittmatter. “This is something that Ryan and I both strongly believe in.”
Strittmatter joined Olsson in 1996, while still a civil engineering student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). In 2007, he was promoted to executive vice president and managed the firm’s technical practice groups. In 2009, he was named president.
Beckman joined the firm in 1995, shortly after receiving his B.S. in civil engineering from UNL. His career included building and then leading the firm’s geotechnical department, as well as overseeing the field and survey teams. In 2009, he was promoted to senior vice president of sales and new business.
