Clif Warren, PE, has joined Olsson Associates’ Water Resources practice. Warren most recently served as chief of the engineering and construction division for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Tulsa District. At Olsson, Warren will serve as an industry expert for water resources projects, including dam and levee safety programs for federal, state and local government clients.
Warren retired from the Tulsa District last month where he served for more than 30 years in various roles and led the district’s dam and levee safety program. In addition, he was instrumental in establishing one of the USACE’s eight national dam safety design centers of excellence for Tulsa. As the chief of engineering and construction, he led 170 employees within four branches and three construction area offices in the engineering, design and construction management of military and civil works projects.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Clif to Olsson and introduce him to our clients,” said Water Resources Practice Group Leader Tony Stanton. “His deep experience with a variety of complex projects – from dams and levees to vertical construction – will be of tremendous value across our firm and to a wide range of our clients.”
While with the USACE, Warren also spent eight months in Afghanistan, where he led engineering, design and construction management of approximately $7 billion in civil reconstruction and military construction projects.
Olsson Associates provides engineering and design services in site/civil, transportation, water, environmental, field operations, survey and facilities. Established in 1956, the employee-owned firm has nearly 30 offices in the Midwest and Southwest U.S., including Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
