The Cozad Telephone Company contracted with Olsson Associates to design a state-of-the-art, Fiber–to-the-Home (FTTH) deployment, bringing 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps) of bandwidth to more than 2,100 businesses and residences within the Cozad city limits. Olsson Associates brought several innovations to the project, including the following:
The project was designed based upon Occam Networks’ head-end and field (ONT) gear.
