Olsson Associates is once again blazing trails with the opening of its newest office in Oklahoma.

The office, which is located in Oklahoma City, currently employs 14 people, and five additional people are slated to join the group before the end of the year. The Oklahoma site offers Olsson’s multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental services with an emphasis on transportation engineering and land development.

The office is led by Alan Soltani, Ph.D., PE. He is a transportation engineer with more than 36 years of experience in transportation, aviation, general civil, wet utilities, program management, construction management, and planning. Alan has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, an MBA in finance, and a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in structural engineering—all from the University of Oklahoma. Alan worked for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation from 1983 until 1999, and he served as the state chief traffic engineer from 1995 until 1999. He has been in private practice since 1999.

The office has already seen success with acquired project work from such clients as the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, Coal County, Circuit Engineering District 4, and Chesapeake. Oklahoma City employees are also helping provide support to Olsson’s other regions.

“The Olsson Oklahoma City staff has prided itself on building strong relationships with our clients by being responsive to their needs, providing practical solutions, and producing high quality plans,” Soltani said.

The Oklahoma City office is located in a temporary workspace at 201 N.W. 63rd Street, Suite 130, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116. The office will be in its permanent location by the end of the year. Employees can be reached at 405.242.6600.
