Olsson contributes to award-winning projects

The Kansas City Business Journal recently announced the winners for its eighth annual Capstone Awards. Olsson was pleased to be involved with four of the award-winning projects. The Capstone Awards honor achievements in real estate in numerous categories. These categories include community impact, industrial, adaptive reuse, infrastructure, architectural design, mixed use, multifamily, green design, office, and retail. Olsson staff members Mike Lally and Ryan Dugdale attended the awards ceremony on April 12.
The four winning projects for which Olsson provided its services included the following:
- Architectural Design: Windmoor Center at St. Teresa’s Academy. This project included a state-of-the-art, multipurpose classroom building and chapel. Olsson performed site civil engineering and field services.
- Industrial: Horizons Industrial. Built on a 260-acre site at Interstate 635 and Missouri 9, Horizons is a park-like setting that is 2.6 million square feet of total industrial area. Olsson performed site civil engineering, infrastructure design, and field services.
- Industrial: Premium Waters. Premium Waters is a new, state-of-the-art production and distribution bottled water facility that will boost Missouri’s economy by creating more than 100 jobs. Olsson performed site civil engineering and field services.
- Mixed Use: 39Rainbow. This project features an urban-style design with retail and an 83-room hotel that caters to the untapped commercial potential of one of the region’s largest and fastest-growing hospital campuses, the University of Kansas Medical Center. Olsson provided field services.
