Steve Iverson – Environmental Practice
Steve brings a wealth of experience in the federal and environmental markets, having spent more than 30 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), including 14 years as the deputy district engineer and chief of the USACE’s planning, programs and project management division.
He previously served as the environment office business unit leader for USACE’s Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri offices as well as the federal market sector leader for the Midwest region at a global architect-engineering firm.
Jeff Kopocis - Site/Civil Practice
Jeff specializes in utility-scale wind and solar energy projects throughout the United States. His projects have collectively encompassed approximately 10 gigawatts, ranging in size from one wind turbine to up to 300. He has worked directly with project developers, owners and contractors to prepare pre-construction site assessments and design construction plans. He’s coordinated with land surveyors for ALTA surveys and construction staking.
Jeff also has design experience in municipal engineering and land development including conducting feasibility studies, estimating construction and development costs, creating grading and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, evaluating environmental impacts, 404 permitting, designing storm sewer and drainage channels, along with sanitary sewer and pavement infrastructure.
